We are seeking a Reservations Clerk to join our team at the Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Golden Sands on part-time basis. The Reservations Clerk will be reporting directly to the Front Office Manager and will be assisting the Reservations Coordinator with the handling and processing of guest reservations at the Resort.
In this role the candidate will communicate directly with clients and will be expected to offer prompt, friendly and efficient service in line with the Resort’s brand standards. Amongst other duties, the Reservations Clerk will assist the Reservations Coordinator with the management and the up-keep of reservation records whilst ensuring that internal procedures are constantly being followed.
The selected candidate must be well organised and willing to work under pressure. She/he must possess excellent time-management skills, have a good eye for detail, be discrete and confidential. The candidate will be expected to work flexible hours. Fluency in English is a requirement for this role whilst an ability to speak fluently in another European language will be considered favourably. The chosen candidate will have preferably worked within a Front Operation environment, ideally within a Reservations team. Knowledge of Opera and/or similar reservations system together with knowledge of MS Office system are requirements for this role.

In this position one will be responsible for the safety and security of the hotel and its guests. This will involve regular patrols, checking of keys, handling of valuable items, monitoring the hotel security system, first aid and other security related matters.
Working on a shift basis, including night shifts you will need to be disciplined, having good communication and decision-making skills. A good command of the English language, both spoken and written, is needed. One will need to be able to handle sensitive situations in a tactful manner. A Security Guard license is required. Experience in a similar position, knowledge of firefighting and first aid would be considered an asset.
Whilst the position is based at the Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Golden Sands, the employment will be registered with Corinthia (Malta) Staff Services Ltd.

At the Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Golden Sands we are currently in search of Pool Attendants to join our dynamic and multi-cultural team this Summer. Pool attendants will be responsible for overseeing the pool areas so as to ensure the safety and security of all guests whilst maintaining and ensuring a clean environment in line with the Resort’s aim at providing outstanding service to our Guests.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Greet guests immediately with a warm and friendly welcome;
Assist guests’ needs related to the pool area, whilst responding to their requests, and concerns in a timely, friendly and efficient manner;
Replenish and distribute pool towels to Resort guests whilst monitoring and ensuring the return of Resort property;
Maintain cleanliness of general pool areas including amongst others organizing and dismantling pool furniture, and arranging the pool towel storage shelves;
Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and health and safety legislation and report any potential hazards if and when necessary.
Selected candidates must have a friendly disposition together with an outgoing personality. He/she must be able to work individually as well as in a team, have a positive ‘Yes I Can’ attitude and be flexible and adaptive to respond to different work situations as and when they arise. Previous experience in the hospitality industry preferably within a five star environment will be positively regarded. In addition, candidates with experience and involvement in extracurricular activities whilst pursuing their studies will also be considered favourably. Preference will be given to candidates who are available as of May/June throughout September/October.
