Food and beverage supervisor
At the Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Golden Sands we are currently in search of a Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team. The candidate will work together with the Restaurant Manager in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of an a la carte’ Restaurant, with the objective to provide the highest quality of Food and Beverage service in line with hotel guidelines and brand standards.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Supervising team members whilst creating good teamwork and morale;
Supervising the floor during dining periods to ensure that all Radisson Blu standards and steps of service are met through all guests’ interactions;
Offering team members on-the-job training to the required brand standards;
Dealing and handling guests’ queries and resolving any issues;
Assisting in preparation of schedules according to business forecasts, maintaining adherence to wage control, productivity standards and guest service scores;
Supporting the Restaurant Manager with monthly food and drink inventories and reconciliations;
Ensuring that checklists, requisitions and proper opening and closing functions are being completed throughout each shift.
The candidate for this position must have a positive ‘Yes I Can’ attitude together with a passion for delivering exceptional service to our guests. She/he should also demonstrate positive leadership characteristics. Experience in a position within a similar environment will considered favourably. Fluency in English is a must.

Room service attendant
A vacancy has arisen within the Food and Beverage Department of the Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Golden Sands as a Room Service Attendant within the Room Service Department.
The selected candidate will be responsible for providing friendly, courteous and efficient food and drink service to in-room diners whilst extending our ‘Yes I Can!’ service.
The candidate for this position must have a positive ‘Yes I Can’ attitude, a friendly and confident personality together with a passion for delivering exceptional service to our guests. Proven working experience in a similar position as well as the ability to work flexible shifts will be highly regarded. Fluency in English is a must.

This is an excellent opportunity for a restaurant specialist with a natural flair for looking after guests and colleagues, is passionate about the Hospitality industry and is looking to take his/her career to the next step.
This hands-on role reports directly to the Food & Beverage Manager. The candidate will be responsible for the daily operation and planning within the Resort’s a la carte’ restaurant. The ideal person shall manage a multi-cultural team, work closely with the culinary team as well as the service team in order to ensure guest satisfaction at all times, whilst ensuring maximum profitability.
The ideal candidate must be in possession of:
A minimum of two years’ experiences in a supervisor/managerial role.
Extensive food and wine knowledge;
Computer literacy and familiarity with restaurant management software;
Strong leadership, motivational and people skills;
Most of all, the chosen candidate will be collaborative, energetic, optimistic, flexible and adaptable, and ready to work with a great team of people.

Indian Speciality Chef
Is BLU for you?
We are seeking an Indian Specialty Chef to join our young and dynamic culinary team at our Resort.
The selected candidate will be responsible for preparing and executing Indian Specialty dishes within our Indian cuisine restaurant ‘Essence of India’ in line with the Resort’s brand standards.
Furthermore, the candidate will be entrusted to maintain high levels of productivity and food & hygiene standards in line with HACCP guidelines, rules and regulations. The Indian Specialty Chef will be responsible for training junior team members by sharing knowledge of this specialized cuisine.
The selected person must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Indian Speciality cuisine within a similar hotel and/or restaurant environment. He/she must be educated in quantity food production, presentation, service, sanitization and skillful knowledge of this particular cuisine. Furthermore, the ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate creativeness and has the ability to work under pressure as part of a team as well as on own initiative.
